Sent a pic off to A.net thinking it might just have a chance of being accepted, didn't think it would be the top of the last 24 hours!

Nice picture Tim, well done for making it to the front page!
-
Nice pic! Is that a 737-700 or 800 winglet?
-
@Phil: Cheers for the offer!
@Ben: Thanks!
@Javier:It's a 757!
-
yes. It's a vry good picture, and congrats on being famous!
-
hmm, didnt see the nose:{ didnt know the 757 had winglets like that:]
-
The winglets on the 757 are an after market mod, bit like go faster stripes only in the case of the 757 they are go further winglets!!!!
"Although production has ceased for the 757, blended winglets are now available from Aviation Partners Inc. as a retrofit to increase fuel efficiency and range. American Airlines, Continental Airlines, and Icelandair have commenced fitting them to some of their fleets, targeted at longer range routes which are too far for 737 or MD-80 aircraft but not popular enough to operate a B767 or A330"
-
The thing I look for is the engine shape, because a 737 has a weird looking engine
-
Well today, I get an email from Rolls-Royce asking if they could use it in one of there publications.
-
Great ! ;D How much beer will you afford for the copyright ??? ;)
-
lol, congrats on that!
