I had this same problem with the EHM Airbus A340-600. The wings would be transparent sometimes, and sometimes oblique, apparently in no particular pattern.

It happens on my computer also. But on mine, it only happens when i am connected to IVAO and at night.

Were you also connected to IVAO?

no, i was just taxiing around KSEA when i noticed it, the default aircraft are totally transclucent while the add on are partly transclucent, mainly the undercarrige and some parts of the wing

EDIT: every plane is transclucent!

Good mate! Maybe you installed a Star Trek Kinglon Ship with cloacking devices ;D .

Well, sorry but I don't know why it happens.... :)

It happens when there is not night-texture for a particular area of the plane. That is the easier problem. On older 3D models, the Alpha cahnnel means not reflectivity, but transparancity. This way, if you have a night texture with alpha channel, it may look transparent...

If you have a night texture missing, here is the easy solution:

Night texture filenames are usually the same as the day ones, only the extension is different. Usually day textures filename end with "_t.bmp" or "_T.bmp", while the night textures end with "_l.bmp" or "_L.bmp". If you have a night texture missing, then simply paint a 256x256 sized black BMP image, and save to the desired name + the "_L.bmp" extension.

Please report here, if you have the same problem at ANY of the EHM fleet. Thank you, although all the textures were tested last year, so... ;)

I have problems with the wings on the Dornier, but I just pretend it's made out of glass!

Sometimes when I am connected on IVAO my tail wing usually turn of 90 degrees but it does not influence the navigation....It is really weird but I imagine that it must bereallydangerous in real life...:%

All the planes are transclucent, default ones are totally transclucent while add-ons are partly transclucent, even during the day

Well, if all your planes seems translucent, then try to turn off the Aircraft reflections in the Graphics menu. If it does not help, then you need to analize your graphics hardware, or the videocard driver. Just because all of the planes cannot be translucent.

turning off the reflections worked, but it would be better with reflections though...

well, turn on the relections! lol

I think the worst thing that can happen, is you have to redo all your FS.

the Dornier actually isn't transparent, it's actually translucent, and it only shows if your looking down at it.
