There have been some problems with the FS2002 version of the 737-800 by FFX in FS2004 even with updated flight dynamics. That's why, just like the Boeing 763 (which hasn't been uploaded yet... <- *hint*) I went for a completly new aircraft, only for FS2004.
But not only will you be able to install this aircraft with flexing wings and the new, lighter EHM colors, I will make the perfect FS2002 Boeing 737-800 panel FS2004 compatible too. I recently discovered how to make panels and it's quite easy but requires patience. A beautiful soundpack will be available too, which is compatible with FS2002 as well.
This is not the only plane in the lineup. Behind the curtain are the Embraer 170 and Shorts 360 (F2002 & 2004 version) and a brand new 767. However, I'm not the one responsible for uploads to the site so you will have to wait until someone actually puts them up there. You'll be informed when they will be. In the meanwhile, enjoy these teasers!

Wow, great looking plane, I'm also glad that there will be a new Shorts.
-
GREAT!!!! :o
Congratulations Guillermo ;D
Bye bye

Guess you'll be getting into the business of making panels huh? ;)
An enquiry, are all planes going to get the lighter blue paint scheme eventually?
-
over time, yes they will. There is still some work to be done on this plane, though. Notice the blue inner slat :o
-
Very nice indeed....
But was there a problem for the 737-800 we had now in FS2004? Because for me it ran very well and It was one of my fav planes, a very detailed livery as well...
I'm also happy for the new Shorts coming in.
Cheers!
Alex;)

Now that you've mentioned it.....it does look kind of odd :P

I think those slats look very cool!!! What a superb toutch!

it works well for you? I had some problems with it lately, but this new one works perfectly. That's why it will be FS2004 only

A little off-topic here, but why do you use so much flaps on take-off??? :o
-
He might have been landing?
-
yeah....... with the tower and runway riight behind him :o
maybe there's a piece of stretched highway in front of him we cant see :%
-
The runway could be particularly short so he could have needed all that flap to get enough lift to takeoff
Then again he may have done it to emphasize on the blue slants on the flaps! :]

With the flaps so far down. That would cause more drag than lift. I have a little graph some were about it. Flaps a about 10* would be just right on average.

yup i guess you're right

Runway 01 at EHGG is veeeery short.. at least too short to take off with maximum t/o weight with only 5-10 degrees of flaps :p
Btw the panel is almost finished.. it's not perfect but it's the best I could do. I just came back from London so I'll post a pic tomorrow.

I don’t think that the FS2004 is the only one that are having problems with that plane. I think it’s one of those planes that works for some people, and don’t work for others. I use a FS2002 PRO and let me tell you that my flightsim hates that plane. After flying some time, maybe 5 min or an hour my flightsim freezes up and I have to restart the flightsim or in some cases the whole computer. It only happens when I use that plane or any other plane based one the same model. So that’s one plane that I’m not going to use, that for sure. :@:@
Just some info, if by chance I'm not the one FS2002 use that are having problems with the B738

Okay here's the dealio: I'm going to change the digital backup instruments back to analogue instruments because this one's very hard to read. Other than that I'm quite statisfied about the results :) It might not be as perfect as the FS2002 version (because I had to use gauges from other aircraft to make them work) but the most important thing is that it works, including GPWS!! I will also expand the ND screen a bit, this one's compressed and rather difficult to read at times.

Is that the first panel you made?
-
I didn't make it, I made an FS2002 panel work in FS2004.. but yes, this is my first attempt after experimenting on a C172 panel.
