Title: Password too long?

Hiya all

I joined this VA last night and got all set up etc.  I was given a random password on signup wich worked fine.  However I thought I would change my password to something easier for me to remember.  I changed it to a 10 character password, and now flight logger wont take a password any longer than 8 characters lol.

Sooo i thought OK no problem I'll go back to my profile and change it to something smaller, but it appears that the old password field in the profile also only accepts 8 character passwords but the new password field will accept 10.  So now im stuck with my 10 character password.  I can log into the site fine but I cant use the flight logger and I have a flight booked on propilot :(

I have emailed my hub manager for EGLL but being the weekend and nice weather he is probably very busy.  I really would like to do a flight tonight with propilot but all seems lost at the moment.

Any tips on what to do?

ooh dear..since I reformated i lost all my bookmarks...so i cannot access the Control Panel, will find the link ASAP...I'm sure another MT member will be online to sort out your problem if I am a bit slow:]

lol no problem razza,

I know how you feel about losing all ya bookmarks after a reformat :P

Dean,

Not sure if someone got in before me, but according to our control panel your password was already 8 chars long (4 numbers, 4 letters), but I changed it any how, check your U2U...

Razza, check yours as well (how you can forget the CPanel URL I will never know...)
