Could someone explain how to install the Level D Euroharmony textures. It is a self extracting file that does not place the files in such a way that the repaint manager can use them.:%

To install EHM livery copy and paste the texture directory (Aircraft\LVLD_B763\texture) rename the copy of texture to texture.EHM , and copy de new livery .bmp files from EHM over the existing files in this directory.
Then open the aircraft.cfg file in notebook, and add the following lines after the last flitsim- (just before the part [General]. and replace xxxx to whatever the next sequential number in the [fltsim.x] series is.

Can you see any problems with the config ?
-
Steve,
its not in the standard Level-D simulation Aircraftmanufactory
You can find it in de Aircraft manufactory Euroharmoney,Aircraft model Class 6.
and remember texture=EHM is case sensitive.

O.K. Sorted
but the only way i could get it to work was to overwrite the Level D textures with the Euroharmony textures then alter the config so the aircraft shows under Euroharmony.
A long way around but got there in the end.
Thanks for your help Willem ;)

Doh !!! Doh !!! Doh !!!
1. Installation instructions are always attached to every aircraft/ livery package ! You do not need to only click OK-OK-OK, you can read the --- I M P O R T A N T --- section too ;)
2. It was superb as you inserted it, you only forgot the first [ sign from the [fltsim.2] header, and that was the problem...the sim did not find your aircraft. You do not need to delete any textures. The [fltsim.xxx] sections are only links, so you can make more planes from 1 installed folder. If the [fltsim.xxx] sections are typed correctly, the airplane will pop-up in the selection menu. ;)

DOH DOH and double DOH :$
I just went back to check the installation file and yes it was there right in front of me (full instructions)
I was so attracted to the alluring NEXT button :o that i just had to press it. ;D
Note to self READ ALL instructions before making a pratt of your self
