Hi all,

I joined the VA not very long time ago. Yesterday I made my first flight from EHAM/Amsterdam to EHEH/Eindhoven. I flew it at IVAO, well I flew everthing online at IVAO. ;) I´m 14 years old and I live in Austria near to Vienna. I like this VA very much because it has a very great fleet and the Flightplan is also very nice. :8

Well here to my questions:

I´ve send a PIREP yesterday evening and it´s still no validated. I just wanted to know if I´ve done everything correct and how many time it takes, until a PIREP is validated
The flight was very short yesterday from EHAm to EHEH about 60nm. I am allowed to fly this under VFR Flight rules? It´s a class 1 flight with the Beechcraft 1900D.
How does the Screenshot system works? I´ve send also a picture yesterday evening. How many time does it take here that my pic is on the website?

Welcome Etienne,

thank you for the kind words :) Here are some answers:

1. PIREP validation depedns on the freetime of HUB managers. Usually it does not take more than 1-2 days. Now it is holiday season, so it may take a little longer, please be patient.

2. Always you decide about the flight mode. Of course on 60nm it is not worth to climb to FL200, so you can make it VFR if you prefer that. ;)

3. If you mean the SSL (ScreenShotLibrary) then it is absolute on-line. As soon as you post an image it will appear immediately, you do not need to wait. For the Screenshot Forum, the system is the same, you only need a webspace where you can put up the images, and you can make links to them on our forum.

Do you belong to the EHAM hub Etienne? I will be validating the PIREP's later today as the EHAM Hub Manager is currently away.....

Yes I belong to the EHAM hub.

Well it´s no problem. Until tommarrow I´m away for vacances in France. I´ll be there for about 2 weeks. Is then the EHAM Manager back?

Etienne,

I personally dont know when he is back, however i ask around and check a thread to see when he is due back.

If you use flight logger, then no validating is needed ;)

However i have just validated all of the EHAM's PIREPS for the pilots waiting for their hours to be addded ;)

Hi,

Kendy Mathes, our EHAM Hub Manager, will be back on the end of the month. Also, LPPT Hub Manager is away and I am replacing him.

So, expect some delay on cheking the pireps. The situation will be normalized in the end of the month.
