Hey everyone.
Robert and I have recently been talking about creating a set of checklists for all the aircraft in the fleet that will hopefully be available to download. However before I start them maybe you could help me decide a few things by telling me your preferences for checklists.
1)What size would would you like them (ie A4 or A5)?
2)What format would you prefer (ie word document or pdf)?
3)What aircraft would you most like checklists for and hopefully these ones can be created first.
If there are any other ideas or points you have then please share them with me. Thanks a lot.

A5 would be good, or perhaps A4 folded into a booklet. PDFs would be more universal. I think the checklists would have to be more panel specific - some panels have more switches than others.
Great initiative!

Hi Tom.
The fantastic Werner Schott checklists for some of the aircraft in our fleet are available, is this the sort of thing you mean?

A4, document, any plane:)

I prefer PDF document and A5 (I think is brilliat to make a booklet);)

If you can manage to do them like Werner Schott, I'd be most happy (and very impressed). Failing that, A4 (and I'll let my printer deal with turning it into an A5 booklet)

You might wanna check upon the formats over here also ;)

Tom, Can you email me at philip@fly-euroharmony.com as I have some stuff you can use as a template and a few other ideas as I am working on some things already!

Ok so I get the impression that Mr Schott is a hit with most people. I won't lie I agree with you all. So if I was to create something similar but with more of a Euroharmony twist to it that would please people? My other problem is (as Iain said before) checklists need to be panel specific so it would also be a matter of choosing the most popular panel for each aircraft. Also a number of checklists would have to be made for certain aircraft ie the 737 as there is also the PMDG aircraft. I'll get cracking on these straight away. I'll make a rough copy of what I am thinking of and let you all have a look at it.

This is a great idea, to make some good checklists for EHM planes.!!!
I think the checklists should cover especially the airplanes that are in the Euroharmony fleet but cannot be easily found elsewhere like Sukhoi 80, Tupolev 204, Piper Seneca, Piper Arrow, etc.. and, first of all, they have to be related to the panels that are available for download on Euroharmony website and should contain the reference speeds for that aircraft (rotate, approach, etc. ) and the rate of climb and the rate of descent, the flaps extension speeds, the landing gear extension speed, etc. This kind of checklists will be very helpful and all pilots will appreciate them. The format or the type of document is not so important, the information contained is the thing that really matters.
I say again, you're doing a great job with these checklists!! Good luck!!

I prefer an A5, because A4 is too large and so not very easy to use. And PDF is my choice.

I do agree with Maarten
