Hi Guys,
Just thought I would let you have a look at what I have been doing in my spare time for the last couple of weeks.
This a practice video to hone my skills and improve the general quality before I have a go at making a video for our stand at the IFC convention in December.
Click here for the low quality streaming video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIkE2o-ghjA)
Or Download a better quality video here (55mb) (http://www.filefactory.com/file/cd4ca1/)
Comments are welcomed!

Wow! Thats great!

2 words. Love it! lol. Nice one Phil. There are some great camera angles being used and it goes well with adagio for strings.

Amazing! :8
Really a great video! :P :P

All in all a great video and a nice job. However to me it looked like the A330 came down a little to fast. Don't know if it was the camera angle or if it was the landing. Also to me it look like the B777 went up a little to fast, sort of like it was thrown up into the air. But like I said all in all a great video.

Very nice and very atractive presentation of EUROHARMONY VA.
I am pretty sure this video will attract a lot of new pilots to join our VA. Sincere congratulations Phil.

Thanks to all guys, to be honest, I am not really happy with it, it was more of a test for the effects and transitions. I am hoping to have a far more proffesional looking video for the IFC. I will keep you all posted.
One thing I haven't mentioned about this video is that it was filmed in real time not on instant replay so I am trying to fly the plane and record the action from an interesting angle at the same time...... Have you tried landing an A330 from an external view at 90 degrees to the runway????? It's actually really hard to get the center line! LOL! :)
Thanks for your comments Karsten, You are right, the 330 does come down fast and the 777 does go up fast, they are being played back at about 3 times normal speed. (Also the B1900 and the Dash8 are speeded up on the takeoff shots, note the traffic in the background on the shot of the Dash on the takeoff roll at EHAM) I was trying to generate a sensation of speed but from other comments I have received, it seems that it hasn't really worked..... It is very difficult for me to judge as I have watched it thousands of times now! I will try slowing them down and re-editing them and will let you see what you think then......
Once again guys, many thanks for your positive comments, I'll keep posting up new edits as they get done.
Cheers,

Phil,
Great job again, I agree with Karsten about the speed but it's a difficult balance to strike between normal speed which takes too much video time and warp speed ;D I don't know much about making vids but I'll bet it's a hell of a job to fly and film at once...
Overall the concept and presentation are excellent and show the VA in a very professional light. Perhaps a mention of the lively forum and online support for newbies would help recruitment too ?
Once again, good job mate, I'm sure you'll make us a superb ad well in time for IFC :P

Great Video! I'm sure that will attract many people!

5 STARS...amazing video...if this is only a trial I would like to see the final version...the livery is amazing and I am really looking forward to fly it...This video presents in an exceptional way our VA, good job, Phil!!!;)

Great work Phil...done us proud.
Jim
ps when will we be allowed those new liveries??
-
I would say when they are released like Robert said sometime this Autumn. I don't blame you for wanting them though. They look amazing.
-
Phil, look for a program called something like 'Recorder' its a module for FS and it can record all you imputs, its very good and means you could concentrate on your landings!
-
Congrats Phil, it looks much more pro than before.
The music is a little bit extreme to me, but it matches at least.
You could use more post production but the one you have done already is good :)
-
Wow Phil, that's really good... I love your payware scenery for London by the way too. It looks great, although sometimes when the takeoffs/landings are speed up it looks like you are hurling the plane into the air and slamming it into the ground. Well done, though - it must be very difficult to fly while looking in the other direction!

yeeeah beautiful very good liverys thanks for this info video
