Title: History of Flight Simulation
Post by: EHM-1617 Iain on September 08, 2006, 10:59:44 pm
Found a website that allows you to download, free of charge, all historic versions of flight simulator up to FS5.1. It comes with suitable emulators for the ones that can't run in DOS. I have just downloaded FS3 which runs in DOS and I'm quite impressed!

Today we are in a FS world of lots of colour, and beautiful graphics. In the early days things weren't quite the same. You can see how our hobby has developed over more than 20 years.

This associated website has more info about the history of FS.
