Title: Autumn in the Alps
Post by: EHM-1800 Franz on September 23, 2006, 10:34:34 pm
Hallo Conrad, dear EHM-Pilots !

What about if HUB Zürich would start the Tour "Autum in the Alps"?
Now it would be the right season and we could finish befor winter.
Wouldn`t it be nice to fly VFR together ?

With a lot of greetings

Franz:]

Yes would be good, sorry for the late reply, didnt see the topic, im allready halfway through the tour, but other pilots are welcome to fly it together. Perhaps if more pilots from my Hub would sign up to the forum or even reply to my emails, then we may get somewhere!

I am interested in it ! I did the tour before the crash, and loved to fly it. It was very challenging. Any thoughts about the circumstances...IVAO, daytime, weekdays, etc ???

Flew it online not that long ago. You *need* good weather and light winds for one or two of the fields, and there are at least two fields where if the wind isn't blowing from the right direction you cannot take-off, even in a Cessna with the default FS mesh/land class...

...sorry I can't join it because I'll stay away from home till January...
My next plan is trying to do LSZH-KATL-YSSY-LGAV (or maybe Frankfurt) and then back to LSZH...I think I will spend around 45hours flying the 777, but it will be worth it
Safe flights,
