Hi Guys- I'm only asking but what are the requirements to become a hub manager? I'd like to know as i would like something to work towards for the future? I'm just asking.... ;D
-
Hi Brian,
- Be a gentleman when talking to other.
- Be polite, mature, diplomatic and helpfull.
- Be invited by the MT, or answer the "recruitment announcements" when they appear.
And prey to have the lucky to be selected ;D ..
Regards,
-
thanks for the reply Bruno - which forum do you put the recruitment announcements in by the way? who is the hub manager of KATL? - i think he's the only one i havent met yet
-
The recruitment announcements are posted when we are in need for Hub Managers. Currently we don't need any for any hub, so you have to wait until a vacancy is open.
Regarding the KATL Hub Manager, is Kendy Mathes. You can send him an emial via kendy@fly-euroharmony.com.
Regards,
-
If Kendy is the HUB Manger of KATL then he could consider transferring himself to KATL. He's still pilot at EHAM ;-)
-
I'm the perfect example of hat a hub manager needs to be...
...haha!
-
yeah actually thats a good point ha ha Kendy transfer to KATL lol ;D and get in the queue Tim..... lol

You're going through a phase called 'New Pilot Syndrome'. Side affects are such as having strong urges to become a member of the management team.
-
ha ha lol do the side affects last for a long time? ;D and no Tim nothing like that lol
-
Some say I still have it.
lol ;D
-
i heard the other side affects are foaming at the mouth and extra hair growth - are you on stage 2 of 'New Pilot Syndrome' yet?? lol
-
Hi,
Before going off-topic I just wanna inform that currently Kendy Mathes is the Hub Manager for two hubs. For now the situation will be mantained as it is, but we never know the future :)
Regards,
-
hmmm do i sense a hint of a possible hub manager position being available in the future bruno eh? lol - i just completed my first flight from KATL to KIAD and have to say i am delighted i transfered to the Atlanta Hub! I thoroughly enjoyed that flight and am looking forward to many more to and from KATL!! ;D
-
Something for us to work for, huh Brian? Lol ;)
-
absolutley Ben....... lol working as a team will bring KATL to another level!
-
Hello Brian,
thank you very much for your offer. And like I said in the EHAM / KATL Newsletter 'Welcome' again. Euroharmony and the Management is always enjoying pilots who are really motived to fly and support with additional work our VA.
But it's also self-evident that not only the management , but also the members of Euroharmony know you (and every NEW Pilot) better that a confident relationship will arise for everyone in long term.
So enjoy flying , our online events and much more and find out if you want to stay with us and keep up your positiv motivation (like you have now ;) ) for a longer period.
best regards,
Kendy
-
thanks kendy appreciate your welcome and honestly anything i can do for the KATL hub i will! ;D and dont worry my positive motivation will be constant throughout my time in Euroharmony.... :>
-
Razza is the model MT hub captain, he's my hero!
-
ha ha ooooo wouldnt take that Razza..... lol - I've heard totally the opposite Tim..... that Razza is a hard working, fully motivated individual who always does everything and anything he can for euroharmony......... ( muffled laughter ) ...... lol kidding Raz kidding!
-
Brian for CEO! Because right now he has an average of +/- 16 messages a day! ;-)
-
ha ha i think Bruno is a far better CEO than i could ever be...... lol - I'm only trying my best to help promote KATL thats all....
-
Well I think all of us know about the KATL hub since everyone are able to choose their hub when they join and those of us who where here before the hub opened probably got the have noticed it to
-
just trying to help improve the membership numbers of this hub Christian so it becomes a success - if everybody noticed it then why so few active pilots?? ;D
-
Hey Brian! I don't think I've met you before!
There's one big problem with KATL though I think. There aren't many pilots from the USA! I partially think that this might be because our name is "euro" so americans get put off, but I'm not saying we should change the name or anything, but when I heard about KATL, to be honest, I didn't think it was going to be much of a success. How wrong I was!
-
Hi Matt - nice to meet you! thats actually a very true comment and one maybe management could look into? maybe a sub-airline....... US Harmony ha ha what hub are you with?
-
Matt's in EGLL hub. I'm hoping we attract some American pilots.... it's going to take a while to get KATL resemblant of the European hubs in size. As you said, though, Brian - PP Flights for both of us to get those stats up!
An "EagleHarmony" division to fly the KATL routes would be awesome! It would definitely give KATL a sense of identity. It would probably take the management quite a long time and I'm not sure they are keen to do this for such a small hub. You never know, though! ;D
-
wouldnt say they'd go for it Ben but it would be nice! It would mean a lot of extra work and time for them and they have already put in so much lately but as you said you never know! and of course it'll take time but we can do it - two heads are better than one eh?
-
Hi,
And why not an "AsiaHarmony", and a "ArticHarmony" and a "AfricanHarmony" ?
I think you are over-excited regarding all of these matters, specially and speaking personally, with the latest Brian's topics.
I would like you to refrain a little bit, and start putting yourselves the feet on the ground.
For now, leave all the strategy guidelines for the Management. As you could see along our, let's say, two year's history (since it's from I am here), we are doing a good job on improving the VA.
In conclusion, use and abuse, from all the features that we have. And trust the rest to us :)
Regards,
-
Bruno, we're definately not trying to offend you or challenge the management's strategies. I'm sorry you think of it that way. We were just having some fun, we weren't making a suggestion. Trust me, my feet are on the ground. The management has done more than a "good job on improving the VA" as you've said, they've done a magnificent job and have created something no other virtual airline can rival.
As for being over-excited, we're just "using and abusing" KATL hub ;) It has only 4 active pilots and both Brian and I are keen to see that it grows to become the success that the management deserves. You guys have all put A LOT of work into it, and no one at this VA appreciates that more than Brian and I. So please, don't take us too seriously in what we say. We're trying to make KATL another one of EuroHarmony's works of art like EGLL, LPPT, LGAV, ESSA, EHAM and LSZH.
Again, Bruno, please don't take this in the wrong way. There is a lot going on right now for you guys (timetable additions, fleet repaints, etc.) and we mean IN NO WAY to disrespect you or the work you do.
-
well said Ben- i completely agree with your statement and wish to express the same sentiment to Bruno and the management team! - we are only trying to award your hard work and effort by making KATL the hub it deserves to be thats all ;D
-
Sure Ben, I didn't thought about it that hard. ;D
I just want to clear the idea that sometimes all of these "idea-explosions" can caught us when trying to improve our work.
Logically, all the ideas are welcome! As they had, and as they are. But, so many at the same time, on all fronts can cause some confusion and can lost us from our main focus.
I know that you all are very excited to have more pilots on KATL and we appreciate that. We really do. But, as I said, we need to sequentially give the ideas, and not place them all at the same time. :)
I hope you don't think that I am angry or something... by the contrary. I am very happy to see that all of you want to make our (pilots+MT) VA even better :) ...
Regards,
-
No, I didn't think you were angry ;D I just thought Brian and I had put things the wrong way. We'll slow down with the ideas ;)
-
or maybe not blurt them all out in one go...... think first and explain later when properly thought about! i think thats what you mean bruno ;)
