Title: Flight logger altitude
Post by: EHM-1500 Jim on October 02, 2006, 09:34:06 pm
Weird problem i have had for a while now, even with the latest version.....the cruise altitude that flight logger records and wants me to submitt is always 1000ft lower than my actual cruise altitude?? I have the altimeters set appropriately before any one asks!
Any one else noticed this?
Jim

Jim,
I have noticed that if I don't fly above the FL slightly it records 1,000 ft lower. For instance I am currently cruising at FL350,  Flight Logger is showing 340 as my cruise, when I go to about 35020ft the Flight logger changes.... Weird! Must be the way the logger gets its info from FSUIPC.

Jim, I have noticed that too. I think, without being too sure about this. I think the FL reads the MSL instead of the set altitude.
