Title: Web Site Down
Post by: EHM-1570 Bruce on October 06, 2006, 01:25:10 pm
I was flying a ProPilot flight today and the Flight Logger stopped logging the flight between the time 10:59:59 and 11:17:32 (UK time), I tried to access the EuroHarmony web page several times during this period and it kept timing out, I tried to access my E-mail and other web sites during this period and had no problems, this would indicate that my internet connection was OK, and it was the EuroHarmony server that was the problem. I have had 3 or 4 Propilot flights rejected saying that all the necessary data was not available and would be logged as a normal flight, and for all of these flights my internet connectio was OK. Any Ideas??.

Hi Bruce,

That message appears when the ProPilot System don't have the minimum ACARS information to consider your flight valid.

The minimum information is the "TakeOff"line and the "Landed" line.
We already have on our development queue, a small improvement on the "Pilot Details" menu on the PP, in order to give the information if the flight is being validated or not, so the pilot don't spend 8 hours and in the end receives that message.

Regards,
