.. we even got a follow-me car! It was my first time on that :)

Some of us still arriving ... You can see the follow-me car there!

Now, that one is a 100% visual approach on LOWI.
I had to do it because my radio frequency panel was not working, so I didn't changed to ILS freq.
On that part I still had the AP turned on but on the final I completely turned it off.

Only once I have used a follow me car. I was taxiing to the runway at Bremen. Got delayed though, because the d**n thing had to taxi down the runway to get back to the next plane!
Great shots Bruno! Shame I couldn't make it. I was thinking of joining you guys at LJLJ, but unfortunately, didn't have enough time!

Thank you guys.
I got a funny episode after vacating the LJLJ runway, because I saw "something" at my front and said "Tower, I have LJLJFM1 at my sight. Request intentions please."
(I was thinking it was an airplane coming at my direction) ;D
And the guy said "EHM948, that's the follow me car. Please follow him" ;D ;D

LOL! ;DIf it was really a plane in your direction, it must have been a small plane, if it was big, you should have seen it clearly:)
