Title: ESGG - EHAM with Razza
Post by: EHM-1500 Jim on October 21, 2006, 12:58:24 pm
Bumped into Jonathan on-line last night and joined him for a nice flight from ESGG to EHAM.
ATC for departure and arrival and most of the way on route which was nice.
My first flight with the excellent new livery for the PMDG 737-800 which i think you will agree looks awesome.
Sorry, no departure shots.
Here we go, hope you enjoy.

Really nice pictures there Jim, nice lighting.

Question if you don't mind: just wondering why have you gone for EFIS/MAP over PFD/ND displays? Southwest Airlines in the US for one use that display because they like to retain more similarity in their single-type 737 philosophy (between classics and NG), but we are hardly what could be termed a 'single-type' airline. Curious ;D

Honst answer Iain...i had to reload the PMDG aircraft about 2 months ago due to general FS9 balls up and never got round to changing the display options...thanks for reminding me though!!

@Jim: Great screenshots. Glad you got the livery at last.

Yes... 8-mode ND... Mmmmmm... (drool)

Does the PMDG do ISFD (Integrated Standby Flight Display) rather than standby instruments (long time since I flew it...) Boeing much prefer to use the single ISFD to the three standby instruments on NG models.

Anyhow, at the end of the day, and barring "guidance" from the airline, what mode the pilot chooses (4-mode classic, 8-mode ND, center, rose... boy could this list go on...) is up to the pilot.
