Hi.
This might be a dumb question, but how can I unlock planes from the museum?
-
Hi Ivan,
I asked this a few months ago, when i was still new here :]

Thanks ;D I love flying old airliners, but there aren't many good...
Can anyone suggest some models? (freeware)
Till now the only one that's really well made is the Project Tupolev Tu-154...
-
actually, we had the Tu-154 before the fleet restructuring, wasnt there then so i dont know much about it.:]
-
Tu-154 was not in the EHM fleet. It is a very nice bird, a true resemblance of the B727.
There were plans to include birds, like Super Constellation, B707, B727, Comet, Boeing Clipper and maybe Junkers-52. So far, only the DC-3 succeeded on the casting :)
-
i do remember seeing some Tu-154 in the screenshots library, someone's private jet? :%
-
I think it was Robert's private jet, since the two pictures I saw of it (one at Chicago O'Hare Int'l, and the other at Osaka Kansai I think) were both taken by Robert.
Anyway, a vintage fleet sounds really cool!
-
Yes I painted it for myself, but does not really fly that bird...should be dusted off ;D
-
I just found the pics :) That repaint rules!!! Where can I find it???
-
Its his private jet. I wish i can have one too lol :]
-
Javier, you could repaint the A380 in EuroHarmony colors!! Don't think the MT would allow it though :>
-
Ah, I was talkling to robert about repaints quite a while ago. You can have a go at repainting, but you need roberts thumbs up before hand!
-
Well, as soon as you do not present any screenshots, and not use the repaint on EuroHarmony routes -especially when it is an unsupported model- you can repaint any airplanes for your fun. ;)
-
lol, dont think i'll be doing any repaints, i only have MS Paint to use :]
-
can anyone actually suggest a good repaint program to use for fs2004 - i'd like to try my hand at repainting? any good tutorial sites aswell? ........... Robert? ;D
-
FSRepaint is the system I use, but you can't really make shades very well.
-
whats the best way of getting that? can you download it off the internet? or do you have to actually physically purchase it? any freeware paint programs? ( i'm such a tight-fisted.... ) :)
-
It's Payware, you can order it off amazon for about £15 (for the UK. Not sure whether it differs for Ireland). Why does it always change for Ireland?
-
not sure actually...... probably some sort of tax or something?? us poor irish... :'( - the exchange rate for the euro too probably has some effect on it
-
I didn't know you had to use MS Repaint. My Captain Sim 757 comes with a repaint kit, but I think I need photoshop to make the repaints which might make things slightly tricky...
-
yeah Traffic 2005 comes with a paint kit aswell but its not that good - the planes you paint are as blurred as the actual traffic ones!! :%
-
I am sure there is not a general tutorial out there about painting. You need to learn by yourself, I believe. I still use the good'ol Photoshop v6. It is 6 year old now ;D You should ask some friends if they had some dusty Photoshop CD-s that may offer you for free ;)
-
Well, it's not fair ;) We can see these nice repaints in the site menus but can't use them...:s
-
dont worry Ivan they'll be coming along soon - Robert's working quite hard to get them all ready for us to download and use - so just have a little patience ;)
-
Don't forget some old school Douglas A/C to. The DC-8 and not to forget the DC-7 Seven Seas the fastest tri engined propliner ever;D;D
And the SUD-SE 210 Carravelle
-
i love the SUD-SE 210 Carravelle ;D in fact here's a pic to show everyone another of my favourite aircraft the Convair 990-30A-6 Coronado ( thanks Christian lol )
-
But this is a Convair 990-30A-6 Coronado not the Beatiful Carravelle......
-
Oh! Oh! Dont forget the Wright Flyer 1 !!!! LOL!;D;D;D
lol, joking;) was actually thinking of the Vickers Vimy or Ford Tri-motor

D'Oh.......... ;D
-
Well hehe, nothing like those spesial Caravelle windows:]
-
Vickers VC10 is the ultimate, also nothing like a good old Connie, the Constellation.
-
Ohh my god, I go and hang myself for not mensioning the good old Connie.
-
lol I guess I'm not the only one anticipating the museum section ;D
-
i think the museum section will be a very popular part of euroharmony when it does eventually open..... maybe possibly an idea for sometime in the new year? ;)
-
The museum is open. Even if there would be more aircrafts in it, there there was not much more functionality as now. Flying the good oldies, just for fun ;)
-
Well... aren't we flying everything for fun? ;D
-
You mean we do this for fun???? And I thought it was a job???? :8
-
Philip, you've really got me confused now!;D;D
-
i see it as more voluntary work......ha ha as none of the MT makes any money in providing us with such a great VA so kudos to all of them....;D
-
I wish that one day we could see the FZDesigns Connie in Euroharmony livery.
That´s a plane!.
