Title: ProPilot UNHCR Event - Zero Day Fly-In!
Post by: EHM-0948 Bruno on November 07, 2006, 12:45:46 pm
Dear pilots,

As some of you already expected, we are going to repeat the last zero day fly in as we did at the last DC-3 event.

This time we will start on Friday, around 19:30 GMT, on our first flight from Luanda (FNLU) to Maquela (FNMQ).

The route should be direct. The simple as possible. Also, we don't suggest a very high cruise altitude. Our suggestion is to be around FL130/FL110.

On the departure:
- Turn off the "airplane crash with other airplanes".
- Try to take off as soon as you can.

After landing:
- Vacate as soon as possible to somewhere around the runway!

The network will be IVAO.

Please write your confirmation here.

Regards,

And: no use FS passangers! Old type, and possible malfunction.

After 20:00 ends interesting presentation in Spaceport Alpha, come group and lets fly.

Hehe, just imagine 10-15 MD17s around the grass runway...we should take off some trees around to get enough space ;D

Wilco (and remember folks, given it's really all visual this time, there's no shame in either going around or staying in the pattern for an extra circuit, especially if you're a little heavy on fuel...)

It would make it harder due to less friction, and I'm sure it dosn't rain that much in Africa.:P

Bruno. Until next Tuesday I'll have some serious problems with free time due to some duties I have urgently to do in my business. That means I'll be absent on Friday and will do these initial legs lately.

Good flying to all!

Peter

sure no probs hector just put the following line in your 'signature' box which you'll find in the control panel and then in 'edit your profile'....

(http:// http://www.fly-euroharmony.com/pilots/automatic_image/XXXX.jpeg )

Note : replace the four 'X's with your pilot ID number ( in your case 1749 ) and also have no spaces between words which i had to put in at the start and at the end of the line i.e it should be (http://http and jpeg)   - hope this helps :)

I am not an IVAO pro so I do not know about the MTL existence.

I myself cannot participate on the event, but I will be there on the fly-in, just for fun ;) I think I will imiediately follow with the 2nd leg...you may join for the practice ;)

hi guys - unfortunately i will not be able to take part in the event or the fly-in due to changed work commitments :'(     - i got a promotion in work and its totally changed my schedule!! Although delighted about my promotion at the same time i am heartbroken that i will miss my first event......   but i would like to wish all of you the very best of luck and hope to see plenty of screenshots of what should be a great event ;D ..... meanwhile i will continue on with my euroholidays missions, my eurobusiness missions and my swedish tour ;)

F.A.O   Bruno

hi bruno - i cant unfortunately send you a mail for some reason but due to the above statement you can release my plane for somebody else's use if you like - thanks ;D

Aww, that's a shame Brian, but think of it this way, You may miss an EHM event, but you get payed more!;D

Sorry guys, I don't think I can do the Fly-in. Something quite important has happened to me too. I won't go into much detail, but I'll just say that I've got an audition for a chamber orchestra.

EDIT: Ok, the time got changed! I'm doing the flight offline though, because there's been some problem with my mic, and I'd probably be the only one using text, and that would get annoying for everyone.
