Title: Penalty after log ends...
Post by: EHM-1465 Dominic on November 14, 2006, 01:43:40 pm
I've just done leg 3 of the UNHCR event and received no penalties throughout the flight... But then I shut down the engines and monitored N2 to zero thinking that would be the end of the log.

So I switched to external view to get a nice screenshot with the cargo doors open and the Virunga mountains in the background... I switched off the parking brake so the red parking brake banner wasn't spoiling the picture and I get a penalty for brakes off while stopped!

Sure enough the penalty shows after the 'end of log' message on ACARS... How can this be? I thought once the engines were off (and spooled down) you didn't get penalties...?!

I'm getting a bit frustrated by these incorrect penalties...

Hi Dominic,

Unfortunately you are completely right. It's a known bug that will be solved on Flight Logger 3.0.8.

I had removed your penalty and have recalculated your FAC.

Don't be frustrated. Remember that you can count with your help ;)

That would be a brilliant feature - vertical speed at touchdown! Nice idea Tamas.
