Title: Another Question
Post by: EHM-1838 Andrew on November 18, 2006, 10:31:38 pm
I believe you have to be online whilst using PP,what happens if you loose your connection in the middle of a flight?
cheers Andy

Nothing. As far as I know, the only time which one must be online is:

1) While reserving the flight
2) When submitting the PIREP

However, I might be wrong so don't take this too seriously! ;)

Well data is sent to the servers when your flying propilot or not. Im pretty sure at an interval data is sent to the servers, ie for the ACARS and propilot logs in the database :)

Im sure Bruno can clarify this.

If it's not sendt a enough data(acars) to the ProPilot system you get an error when you submit your pirep, that says not enough data(acars) to be registered as propilot or something like that happened to me once. So I think you must be online for the hole flight when flying ProPilot.
