Hi all, I just saw a screenshot taken by Karsten Frederiksen, in the comment he says he's taking off from Singapore and heading to Sydeny.... how is this possible? It's not an official EuroHarmony flight, and unless it wasn't intended to be a EuroHarmony flight, I don't know how he got away with it. Thanks!
(Sorry Karsten, I don't mean to single you out, I'm just using the shot as an example)

No problem Ben, You are correct it wasn't an official EHM, not even an unofficial EHM. I do a whole lot of flying that hasn't anything to with EHM. I think that flight was actually a real world Singapore airline or Quantas flight. I haven't logged the flight hours with EHM for that flight, because that would would be cheating, and that's one thing I'm against. I used our B747 because the flight called for one. My other airline have a liberal policy about what aircrafts we use. So in many cases if a flight calls for an aircraft that I have in EHM colors I use it. That saves me from having to install another aircraft.
So as far as I know the only thing I'm trying to get away with is a shot of one our B747 taking off from Singapore. As far as I know, and I could be corrected, I haven't done anything wrong.
I'm pretty sure if you look way back in the screen shot forum you will find a shot of on an An-140 in EHM colors flying over or close to Ayers rock. It has never been any secret that I log more hours outside EHM. I have been with my other airline since summer 2003, and was about to leave EHM, when we had the harddisk crash in January 2004.

Sure Karsten, I just wanted to clear that up, I didn't mean to accuse you of anything. A while back I did ask EuroHarmony if there could be some kind of stopover system implemented in the FLogger, and it was rejected, so I was just curious ;) Thanks!
-
actually a stop-over system on flight logger would be a great idea! how come it was rejected? its probably difficult to implement onto the flight logger program i suppose?? ;) - it would be nice when your doing a long haul flight to be able to stop-over at an airport along the way due to real life time constrictions....:>
-
Yes, I think that was it, it was too difficult to implement into the system. Oh well ;)
-
maybe something that can be worked on in the distant future......?? ;D:8;D

Well to be honest guys, due to the size of our schedule, expanding it further by adding stopovers would probably involve us moving to dedicated servers and requiring about 15 more people in the development/support team!!!! Okay, maybe 5 as we do have Bruno and Maarten who are both super human!!!! :)
No seriously though, the resources this sort of plan would eat up are far beyond our means both at the moment and in the foreseable future! Sorry!
