Title: Range of A322 V4
Post by: EHM-1570 Bruce on January 25, 2007, 07:45:52 pm
I have just completed some flights in the A322 V4, the distance was 1600nm, the aircraft started with 39000lbs of fuel and landed with 11000lbs, the range of this aircraft is 2900nm, quite clearly with the present fuel flow scaler set at 1.3 the aircrsft would not make a trip of 2900nm, if you want the aircraft to have the correct range you will have to edit the aircraft.cfg file as follows, open the cfg file and scroll down to the [GeneralEngineData] and change the fuel_flow_scalar to read 1.15 then save. I also found that the panel was hard to read at night so I edited the panel.cfg file to give the panel a more readable colour, if you want to change the colour of your panel to give a more red colour, open the panel.cfg file and scroll down to the section [Color] and edit only the first figure in the night line to read 210. This change to the panel colour can also be done on the 333 V4 and the 345 V4

thanks bruce, this is my fave aircraft to fly and had to abort last couple of med distance flights due to running low on fuel, but everything seems fine now.:>

Thank you Bruce ! IT seems I made some mistake at the range tests. All planes fuel useage will be revised in the near future ;)
