Title: IVAO.ORG vs IVAO.AERO: Waht\'s the difference ?

Hi all,

I've noticed that there is 2 different web sites, for IVAO which are www.ivao.aero and www.ivao.org

They look pretty much the same, but I'm just wondering what makes the difference between the 2 site addresses. Any hints from anybody ?

sometimes IVAO.org doesn't work as well. The join up page is very faulty, and other parts don't work.

Ivao.ORG is run by a scandalous Dictator who claims to own the "real" IVAO, the owner is responsible for many hackings and problems at ivao.aero, thus reducing himself to a little child. He was a bad man, and it was decided that it would be better for the organisation if he was "removed" from staff. He was offered a position as an honoury member, but sulked like a child and decided to cause problems..

IVAO.aero is the one you will want to register at and spend your time at, we have also just become an official NPO (Non Profit Organistation).

A slightly less bitter view........IVAO.org was the old IVAO site which was changed to IVAO.aero after some management power struggles.
Use IVAO.aero

Really?? I am truly shocked! I just thought that IVAO.org was a domain that they used, but gave up on, maybe due to technical problems.

I'd like to ask though, does each site work as one? I mean accounts on ivao.org will work on the IVAO server? Or are they two completely different companies?

If they're two different companies, this morten hansen is a complete cheat.

Thank you for your answers. I thought it was a stupid question, but in deed there is quite a ugly story around.  Anyway I'm using ivao.aero and registered as part of the VA system. So no problem.

Aha! That's why I was so confused. Well, going to .aero instead.
