Stealing a little of Ricardo's thunder here, but he's arranged a dual fly-in on the 14th April from Oporto to Funchal/Porto Santo.

UPDATE: Ricardo has modified the timing of this fly-in - it will now start at 1330Z, not 2000Z as previously advertised.

Please, don't forget to describe in details all the problems that may occur in connecting to this Fly In with FSX. Will you use the standard link for the connection? How about using ATC coverage? I tried a few times, but there occured a lot of different problems. Let me know, maybe I'll try too.

Sorry a few more peple did not make it but it was a nice event. I will post screen shots in a bit. Thanks to Miguel, Peter and Bruno for the company and sorry your mic broke Robert, make sure you get it working for monday! :P

This was lovely event,but visual approaches at Funchal airport are sometimes a pure lottery. I was forced to fly as low as possible due to huge and thick cloud right over the rw 23, so the landing was maybe a bit too low. Want to see the pic. And thanks for video program.

Bad luck, it seems once I missconfigured the MIC channel to subwoofer ;D No it is okay. I guess you had a great flight ;)

Hi people... maybe you thought I organized this fly'in and didn't fly.... well, I was the LPPC_CTR controller :D It was nice to control all of you. Very professional pilots ;) Well done.
