Hi Guys,
Anyone with FSX running stable on their machine and fancy helping out with some testing, please post here. We are hoping that preliminary beta testing of our FSX fleet can start soon and I would like to get a list of testers before this starts.
You will be required to report on all aspects of the planes, including textures, flight dynamics and characteristics, even if you don't find any bugs. :)
Our fleet will consist mainly of conversions from FS2004 at the moment and as you know, there are some developers we use that are not supporting FSX so there will be holes in the fleet I'm afraid.
You will be required to remove all EHM fleet conversions you have made yourself. We suggest you back them up so you can switch back later if you find they work better than the ones we supply for testing.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi
Can count on me

Hello team,
I'm interested in doing beta testing of the FS X Fleet. I've not made any FS2004 -> FSX fleet conversion so far, so my FSX is clean.
Just let me know when the time comes
Cheers

Hi there,
I would really like to help you guys - it all depends on when the testing begins. I have FSX deluxe running on my system, but my computer is too slow to run it fluently. However, my computer will be upgraded soon, within the next month I think, so if that's not too late then I'd be glad to help ;) let me know!
-
argh, I just uninstalled FSX because it made some other games slow, but I'll be happy to re-install it, if there aren't enough testers.

I would be glad to help you to test the FSX fleet. When I'm needed just call;)

Have a lovely stable version of FSX running and would be happy to help!

OK thats our brave five test Pilots :)
Luis Nunes
Christophe Moutot
Manuel Zwikirsch
Pedro Abraços
Matt Ridley
With Ben Contreras and Matt Haywood on standby in Alert 5! (A little Top Gun reference for Razza ;) )
I will have the first 7 planes (one from each class of the main division) ready sometime in the next 7 days and will email our testers with specific details for the download and test procedure.
One thing I will need to know from you all is what Operating System (XP or Vista) you are running and whether you have Service Pack 1 for FSX installed.
I thank you very much for your assistance.

Ok Guys,
Please check your emails. I have sent links to the first batch of aircraft. Please do not post or share the links as these are definitely preproduction aircraft. We also ask that you do not post screenshots of the planes just yet, many thanks.
Good luck and fly safely! :)

Is it too late to join beta testers? I'd be glad to join, if it's still possible. One good reason for taking me in could be that every testers run XP. I think we need at least one tester who runs Vista, which could be me :)
(Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit and FSX + Sp1)
And if the beta tests have already begun and I can't join anymore, I could test the fleet after real beta testing, just for see if everything is ok under Vista.
But please let me know if I can join, I'm having my summer vacation so I have plenty of time for flying ;)
Edit: I forgot to mention that I just installed FSX so it's clean (only installed FSUIPC4, FSINN 1.2 and CoPilot 1.6).

Tarik,
No problem, as you say, we could do with a Vista tester, I will email the details to you. We already have some initial reports from a couple of pilots and it looks like the FSX fleet will still need some work.
Cheers,
Phil

Hi,
Would love to help out, I'm running FSX pretty well at 1650 x 1050 (looks sweet ;) ), along with My Traffic X. Have tried a few conversions myself, have had issues with sound and panels etc... but they look sooo much better in FSX :>

Pat,
Well, FSX compatibility testing is well under way and unfortunately I have hit a bit of a brick wall with panels for turbo props so I am going to be looking at a work around this week. The first batch of 7 planes will hopefully be launched between 15th to the 20th of July all being well.
I will certainly put your name on the list of testers for the next batch which will start in August! :)
Cheers,
-
Thought I'd try anyway ;D
cheers!!

Hi!
How is the beta test proceeding? Will there be a launch soon? Can't wait =)
Thanks
-
Well I have not had too much negative feedback on the release versions yet so hopefully they will be finalized this week.
In the meantime here is a taster for you......
FSX SU80 GP (http://www.fly-euroharmony.com/~aircraft/betatest/FSX/EHM%20SU-80GP%20V4%20for%20FSX.exe)
This is the final versions for FSX. As you will notice it has the default King Air panel. As and when better panels become available for FSX we will update them.
Enjoy!

I realise there's plenty of time (as far as I am concerned), but how is the 737-800 coming along Phil?
(Murray)
-
Hmmmm.....
Well the POSKY 737 just doesn't run well on FSX yet (The textures are all messed up and the FDE is a mess) so I think we will have to wait for a new version or plug the gap with a different 738. (Maybe a repaint of the Default 738)
The initial release will be:
Class 1 - SU80GP
Class 2 - Saab 2000
Class 3 - ATR 72-500
Class 4 - Embraer 170
Class 5 - Airbus A320 (Wilco/Feelthere repaint works on the FSX version as well)
Class 6 - Boeing 767-300ER (Level-D repaint will work on FSX)
Class 7 - Boeing 747-400
I'll let you know more as we get a bit closer
Cheers,
-
I finally tuned my FSX to run at reasonable FPS, is it too late to join? :]
-
Javier,
We will be looking for more testers later in the summer for the remaining Main fleet and other Division planes but for now, testing is on hold whilst we try and get the first 7 planes fully compatible.
Cheers,
-
roger that! ;D
glad to hear i still have a chance to help out;D
-
Hi folks!
What happened with the release of the planes?
-
It has not been released yet, most of the aircraft are still in testing. The initital releases are still in testing, but they will be the first to be released.
-
Well..... Here's the deal... I have had a major upheaval in real life (work etc) and my energies are a little unfocused at the mo, but things are getting back to normal somewhat.
I am still having big trouble with one plane, the 767-300ER, I can not get the FDE right. We can not release them if they are not able to complete a PP flight without penalty under normal flight. I will hopefully get some time this week to finish phase 1 of the project so at least one plane from each class is available but I can not make any promises just yet!
-
Okay! Looking forward to the release! Great work! And thanks for the Sukhoi 80!!
