Hi!
Yesterday I decided myself to try for the first time to make a video.. So I picked up one of ours Falcons and took it on a small trip to St Maarten.. This was my first experience with Fraps and editing video to the overall result, as well as the flying itself, is well.. not so famous.. Anyway.. hope you enjoy it!

Wonderful job!
Really enjoyable.
Well Done mate!
-
That's wonderful, I would like to start filming aswell, which program did you use for video recording??
-
Thanks for your kind answers!
For recording I used Fraps, the freeware version (www.fraps.com) to edit Windows Movie Maker...

Great video...and great music!

Miguel,
Fabulous first attempt!!! Maybe we can open up a little contest to see who can make the best video shoot of our new Cargo livery, what do you think?
Tip for you!
Message Kill is a nice little utility for getting rid of the replay text and other messages from FS. Make sure you back old files up if you want the messages back after filming. Get it from Avsim by seraching for messagekill.zip or try this link:

If some of you guys are serious about doing a video, as mentioned above, we could have a competition to make a new corporate video with the winner taking pride of place with a link on the front page of the site.....
Here are some links to my earlier vids, not that good but I have not had time to put a new one together this year yet!
This was essentially my first video, although it had received 5 revisions by this time! (Initially it was called Lambourne Loop but I can not find it in its first version)

Filmed during the Feb 2006 fly in on IVAO, our Virtual Flight Academy were the stars. (as well as some crap flying by me!)

My worst flight ever in a DC3. This was filmed during our 2006 Airmail Pioneers event! The weather was terrible!

The last major attempt I made at a vid was the launch video for our new livery that was looped on our presentation display at last years IFC in Birmingham!

Thanks for the tip Philip!
By the way, can you tell me which program do you use to be able to capture some of the angles you got on the IFC video.. I know there's a way to do it, but can't find how!
Thanks again!

The program most used is active camera.
It's payware and you can google it as it is quite popular.
I installed it once but I found it hard to use. Christophe [EHM-1945] uses it a lot for his screenshots so he has much more experience.

I am not a fan of Active Camera... I use DBS Walk and Follow available from IFLY here:
http://www.igfly.com/
I found it a little easier to use than Active Camera.

nice video ;D the music is great ;D
-
Yes, it is fabolous ;) Next time, if you do not have as much experience, use replays for landing shots, then you can have much beautiful landing scenes ;) So first concentrate on the landing, then concentrate on shooting from replay ;D

Really good first video Miguel and, dare I say it, shows off our Dassault Falcon well - I still love that VC and cabin ;)
Looking forward to your next vid - perhaps as Phil suggested, one showing off the new EuroCargo livery? Might even have to try myself...:P
-
Thanks all for your kind words and advice.. I would really like to use Active Camera or Walk and Follow, but payware isn't really an option right now.. Maybe later! ;D
Even though I don't usually fly EuroCargo flights, when I get some free time I will try to do a video with the new livery..
Once again thanks for your kind words!
