Hi Terry !

You do not need to change anything there. FS opens with engines running by default. If you made a flight with engines shutted down, and sqaaved it (overwrote) as default flight, your engines will be shutted down always.

Sometimes, it can happen when you switch to a totally different plane than before. Like switching from jets to small and weak propeller planes can cause an engine shutdown at load. Also it can be a factor of the panel you use: some panels can initiate a shutdown while loaded.

Cheer up ;)

Hi Terry! Try to download from avsim.com (free registration needed) and search for "cold and dark cockpit at startup". It is a small file, but it helps saving a lot of time ;)
