Title: Ju52 help
Post by: EHM-0654 Murray on August 27, 2007, 03:32:10 pm
OK, I'm having a problem with the Ju52 that we are due to be using for the upcoming Orient Express event...

I can't get the engines to light at all! The prop ticks over, it seems to catch, but then dies again. Any tips?

Hi Murray

I downloaded the CASA 352L Ju-Air / Hapimag from
http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Proto=ftp&DLID=50910
just for practice.

No problems to light the engines with Ctrl+E........my problems are with this funny autopilot....
Sperry-autopilot ...Sperry-Kursgeber

I did a google search for a flying manual, but no luck....if you know something about a flying manual for the Ju52 post here, please.

Cheers

Now that the event Ju52 is available, can anyone offer assistance with getting it's engines running? I could use an English checklist for it if anyone knows where to find one (other than the kneeboard, printing them is a pain...)

Hi Murray, no problem with that. I will work on it tonite when I get home.
I am testing this machine in short flights and so far it is wonderful.
No problem with engine start, very stable but next test will be in turbulent weather.
Cheers,
Hector

P.S How do I know whether I am in? I have not received confirmation yet. Suppose a list will be displayed.

The checklist for the Ju-52 states 25% throttle when starting engines;)
