l have just downloaded ivap from ivao website and installed it on my computer , when i got on Fs9 there is no button on the top line, l have looked on the forum but cannot find anything about this problem, could someone point me to a link or give me help regard Bruce

Are you sure you have installed it in the right directory? It happened to me and I discovered I had installed it in the wrong directory, and then the IVAP Module was not installed in the FS9 directory. Check it out.

If that's the case, you can manually fire up the user interface from the start menu - All Programs\IVAO\IvAp\Ivap User Interface.
-
And one more thing (that made my IvAp crash to high heavens) make sure you have the latest DirectX installed and functioning.

thanks everybody, have not been able to find the ivap user interface in my programs so am a bit lost now Bruce

Windows can be very tricky, but in this case, I think that if you don't find it on Programs it means that it's not installed at all. Try to see if it appears on Control Panel/ install uninstall software. If it's not there, it's not installed.

hi Vaz,m thanks for the info the program is installed acording to install/unistall software. on the file Ivac pilot client file i have

Thanks for the help Bruce

Hmm, can you make a screenshot and show us ?

That doesn't sound right Bruce. A screenshot (as Rico said) would be very appreciated. I have a feeling something hasn't gone right and you may need to de-install/re-download/re-install.
