Post by: EHM-1651 Christian on October 28, 2007, 10:19:56 pm
The board of Scandinavian Airlines has decided to withdraw the Dash 8-Q400 from service in all parts of the SAS group, after the last incident  at Copenhagen airport.
This means that SAS will stop flying this aircraft for good.

Bit of a daring move, considering that SAS is responsible for 7 out of 12 accidents with this plane. Almost seems like SAS's fault rather than the planes themselves.

I'm not neccessarily saying SAS should be blamed for all this, and it's a bad idea to stop using this plane, I just think something seems wrong considering this plane was doing fine until the last two months where 7 incidents occured, all in the same airline.
