Any chance that one's EHM profile be public? it would be nice if from one's website one could link to one's EHM statistics page, the one that is shown in the profile indicating hours, favourite days/a/c, etc.
In the Flight Logger timetable one can see the history of a given route, it shows who did it last, the first, those in between, and some other stats. It just does not show the one that did it with the least amount of fuel burnt, that is actually an economy for the airline :) The percentage of savings in comparison to the avg (or estimated) can then be taken into one's statistics (profile) as some sort of Fuel Efficiency rating.
Anyway, just a few ideas.

Hmm, if I'm not mistaken, anyone can see your profile, without being an EHM member.. I've send my profile link to countless people and they all could see it

Didimo here's how you do it
The URL is the same for everyone, save the last numbers which are your Pilot number.
Mine is http://www.fly-euroharmony.com/site/manu/pilotstats3.php?who=2155
Yours is http://www.fly-euroharmony.com/site/manu/pilotstats3.php?who=2198
Everyone can see that, its like going to the main site, clicking pilots then roster then finding a pilot there
Hope it helps =)

Thanks! I got it now, hopefully I get to update my sites next weekend.
The reason I asked is because apparently most of the EHM website makes use of frames (isn't that a hype of the last century?) so for most pages you can't see the URL of the page on the browser address bar.
Anyway, now I have the information.

Didimo,
I am glad that you now have the information you needed. Regarding the data provided about flights, I am sure you understand, this is a never ending road and we could supply far more information than we do currently but to reduce the load on our server we try to limit the amount of database searches and it's activity. Some of our members have donated very generously to enable us to have the server we have now but we can not expect or afford to increase the size or power of that server at this time. When we revisit this area of the website we will take your requests in to consideration however.
In response to your other question....

A large amount of our website and the data stored dates back quite some years but even the oldest content is from 2001 so not quite last century.... If you are of the opinion that our website is out of date and does not serve the purpose for which it is intended, I would welcome some "constructive" comments from yourself but please bare in mind as I have pointed out to yourself previously, the MT gives a great deal of time completely for free and we are not going to update parts of the website merely because they do not use the latest coding techniques or they use a dated technology. We would love to have the latest website using the newest technology but putting it quite simply, we are hobbyists not professionals so we do not have a team of web developers and those we do have only have a finite amount of time to spare.
Thank you,

Now, taking my CEO hat off and putting my members hat on..... EuroHarmony is not the largest or latest VA in the community but it has a long history, longer than many others and it also has a far simpler, cleaner and more user friendly website than the majority of the competition out there. (notice I said majority!)
Cheers,

I like to website the way it is, for me a last century website is that one that takes forever to load (when it loads), dead links or outdated information. I really can tell you some "great prestige" Virtual Airlines with websites like those. I like our site (besides blue is my favorite color ;D) because it's beautiful, fast, easy to manage and downloads and links work perfecly.

I agree with Carlos!
Our site is great looking, very fast loading and it contains a lot of information in an clearly arranged way. I like our site very much!
Kind regards
Manuel

It took me a week or so to get used to where the info was in the site, but I also find it quite fast and lightweight and easy to access...
If anyone is thinking about a re-design, just dont flood it with flash everywhere please :P

I agree completely. It's a fantastic website and the lack of technical jargon was certainly very welcoming when I first joined ;D
