According to this story (http://www.flightglobal.com/articles/2008/04/28/223306/last-ditch-referendum-fails-to-support-keeping-historic-berlin-tempelhof-open.html) from FlightGlobal.com, it seems certain now that the very historic Berlin Tempelhof airport will close later this year.
Last chance to visit for those who live in Central Europe I guess... I think it's a pity that such a historic location should be shut down, surely it could be put to good use with a little imagination?
