It is :)

FSX runs at 20fps (locked) all the time with display configuration at ultra high :)

1GB of dedicated memory in a laptop (are you sure it is not shared from Main Memory but reserved for video use?).

Sounds impressive, did you have to sell your soul to acquire this gem?

A friend of mine has a Dell XPS laptop and FSX runs nicely there too, at least with default planes.

Hi,

Well, it's not. I confirmed that with the shop :)

I bought it by 1.169,00 € here :)

Well, unfortunately it went down to 20fps with PMDG 747-400X ....

I also made another change. I don't see what I win by using FSX and not FS2004 with a good mesh and improvements. So, I got back to FS2004. Now I have another problem, that is the directplay is not installed on Vista so I can't use IVAP ...

Looks like I need to get back to Windows XP, my favourite operating system :)
