Hi mates,
After some days waiting for it, i got my new notebook: A brand new Asus M50Vm-AS008C !
New montevina CPU P8600 2.4 Ghz 1033Mhz FSB
500 Gb HDD SATA 2
4 Gb of RAM
Nvidia GeForce 9600M GS with 1Gb of DEDICATED memory!
Will post some screenshots of my FSX ;)

It is :)
FSX runs at 20fps (locked) all the time with display configuration at ultra high :)

1GB of dedicated memory in a laptop (are you sure it is not shared from Main Memory but reserved for video use?).
Sounds impressive, did you have to sell your soul to acquire this gem?
A friend of mine has a Dell XPS laptop and FSX runs nicely there too, at least with default planes.

Well, it's not. I confirmed that with the shop :)
I bought it by 1.169,00 € here :)
Well, unfortunately it went down to 20fps with PMDG 747-400X ....
I also made another change. I don't see what I win by using FSX and not FS2004 with a good mesh and improvements. So, I got back to FS2004. Now I have another problem, that is the directplay is not installed on Vista so I can't use IVAP ...
Looks like I need to get back to Windows XP, my favourite operating system :)
