Title: Flight number B437 and B438 have a problem!
Post by: EHM-0441 Stefan on August 31, 2008, 06:07:38 am
Hello, you might have seen my nagging posts on me not being able to lift off at Reykjavik with the bombardier Challenger 850.

Well, I did some research and found that the C850 need a runway thats atleast 6200 ft long and no runway at BIRK is that long, the longest is about 5100 ft.

So I'd say that that aircraft simply isnt suitable for that airport destination. I found that out the hard way... :/

I only managed to lift off with very low fuel, not enough to get me back to arlanda where I was heading.

Hi Stefan,

Thank you and sorry for not answering you before about this.

Please send an email to Miguel Coelho about this. He is developing the new timetable.

Regards,
