Title: Phoenician Entertainment
Post by: EHM-1001 Robert on July 20, 2004, 09:18:05 pm
Hey, plz, if somebody is able, then blow up this company!

Every night there is a scrap action movie on the TV from them, with many flight scenes, like:

-usually starred by Michael Dudikoff or Dolph Lundgren
-cockpit shots of a 747 with only 2 pilots and no backseat..., or no side window ???!!!
-outside shots of a 747, STOLEN video of the first 747-100 flight in Seattle back in the 70's ???!!!
-TWR or CTR shots taken in an office with the ATC-guy sitting behind a desktop PC ???!!!
-action scenes STOLEN from the famous "Airport" series ???!!!
-fighter action scenes STOLEN from the famous "Iron Eagle" movie (all about F-16s) or "Top Gun" movie or "Supercarriers" TV-series (all about F-14s) ???!!!
-unknown, perhaps homemade US military uniforms worn by actors ???!!!
-underwater action scenes STOLEN from the famous "Hunting for Red October" movie ???!!!
-aircraft carrier action scenes taken on a support-ships rear deck ???!!!

. . . :@ :@ :@ :@ :@

OK, you will say why still watching these movies? I hope there will be an improvement...or just want to see those scenes once more ;)

The bad thing is they have many bad movies some of those are made of totally the same action scenes.

Do you remember the movie "Executive Decision" with Kurt Russell, Halle Berry and Steven Segal? That stupid company made 2 versions of this movie with the same scenes. In one of these movies there were terrorists on-board a plane wanted to blow up a bomb, while in the other movie there was a politician on-board they wanted to hijack... both of those were a shame...

btw almost every movie with airplanes is crap, as they are made for people who don't know nothing about planes and flying.

did you see Airplane! and Airplane2? they were a great parody of these kind of stupid films. :D

Ever seen the Lizzy McGuire movie? Lizzy's going on a school trip from San Fransisco to Rome. She leaves San Fransisco in a Lufthansa 747-400 and arrives in a white 747-200 :o

but what's even more disturbing is that inside the aircraft, the seat config is 2-3-2 :o:o in a 747? gimme a break!

Maybe she flew first class  :-)

(Haven't seen the movie though)

Both "Airplane!" movies don't deserve your critics, because they are intended to be a parody.

It's a much greater shame if so called quality movies make those mistakes.

I once found a site which puts all those mistakes in a database, ever seen the Roman warrior with a digital watch in Ben Hur ? (Can't remember the url of that site)

Yeh...i went on that site once...rather amusing to think about ;D

I think Airplane was a great film...the second was a bit poor....most sequels tend to be worse usually though (of course with exceptions).
