Hi - I'm class 3 and for all the airplanes I have used, there has been the same panel. When I try to click on the panel download there is an error.
Today, I clicked onto the panel download. Where should I save it? \then I installed the airplane into FS2004 and when I tried to load the flight, it came up saying a problem occured and that FS was closing.
Any ideas ? ? ?
Thanks ;)

Hello Lewis !
Do you use FS2004 or FSX ?
Most of the additional panel downloads are just link to AVSIM.com You need to have a registration there to be able to download. Maybe that is the problem.
For FS2004 you need to enter the main FS2004 folder path (e.g. C:\Games\FS2004) when asked by our installer. For panels, you need to unzip it to a temporary folder, and look for a Readme file, where the author will describe the installation process ... every panel is individual.

This is correct Robert, however there is another case too with some aircraft. These use panels from the FSNORDIC web site (which IMHO is a very interesting site BTW).
It looks like AFTER the EHM site was built, policy at FSNORDIC has changed and does no longer allow links directly to specific pages or items on their site. For these reasons these links from EHM pages no longer work.
What to do? If you get an error when clicking the "Panel" link in the EHM page, AND the link points to a FSNORDIC page (which in MSIE is shown on the status bar), then go to http://www.fsnordic.net, look for that specific panel and download it.
Alternatively, you could note the file name in the original link and look for that specific file.
Hope this helps
Andrei
