Title: Pilot Information Banner
Post by: EHM-2383 Ian on May 27, 2009, 11:21:17 pm
Hi

I can't seem to work out how to make the pilot information banner appear in my postings ie the blue one that  most people have showing a B747 in the background and giving pilot details and that comes up under the posting wording.  Can someone point me in the right direction with this?

Thanks.

Ian

No problems Ian,

Just edit your forum profile and add this text to your signature section:-

[XXimg]http://fly-euroharmony.com/pilots/automatic_image/2383.jpeg[/img]

but remove the first two XX's from the [XXimg] box - I have to add them or you won't see the text to copy in my post, just the badge ;)

Ian,

I've added the signature BBCode to your profile for you (hope you don't mind :)), but in my current Firefox session it's not showing up, and I'd guess that you need to edit your profile yourself so the forum software notices and downloads your image for you.

Strange. It has in your "it's not working" post, but not your first post?!?!?

I wonder if it was posted without "Use signature" ticked?

EDIT: Voila! The power of a forum administrator to the rescue. Yup, "Use signature" hadn't been ticked, hence no signature. ;D
