Looks pretty good :) Do you know the airport name?
-
That appears to be RJBB Kansai Intl in Osaka. That is built on, "land re-claimed from the ocean!" Very beautiful piece of architecture!
-
Japanese are the smartest people on earth. Own it ;D
-
Also the people with the least land pero person, needed a place to build something as large as an airport.
-
No...this is not Kansai ! Kansai have an Eagle-like terminal building and have an extremely long bridge to the land, with a superb skycraper standing in front of the bridge. And this airport is rather small, like a regional one.
-
Woah... then Japan's regional airports must be really big!;D
-
Incredible isn't it. There was a bit about this in my Geography exam earlier this year. Apparently to build it they just quarried loads of soil from somewhere in the Japanese countryside, took it to the coast in thousands of lorries and then put it in ships which just dumped it on the seabed. I wouldn't like landing there though, and surely the passengers start to think 'aren't we a bit too low to be over the sea?'. :o
-
Tokyos airports like that, well it was on FS2002 not seen it on FS2004.
-
Really nice piece of land and technology :)
By the way the Japan is not the densest country in the world. That title goes to Hong Kong which however is not really a country right now. Coming second is Singapore (my homeland! :) :P) Over here at singapore there's quite a few of this kind of project going on all year round

I wouldn't mind landing anywhere, my life's in well trained hands, they know what they're doing ;D (as long as the ILS is properly adjusted)

Yeah that is a really cool place...when i went to OZ we stopped over for a night in Osaka, and, they have busses that are scecially to get torists from the airport to the main land (and therefore the hotels)!!!
It's really cool!!!
