Title: 2009-07-04 New flight logger PIREP submission script
Post by: EHM-0654 Murray on July 04, 2009, 12:16:10 pm
We've uploaded and live tested a new version of the server-side script that handles PIREP submissions from the Flight Logger.

In the limited test of a single flight it has performed as expected, but can you all be extra vigilant for a while with the page you get back when you submit a flight from the Flight Logger; be on the look out for fields listed as "N/A" when they should be completed (don't worry if they are N/A as it's only "not important" fields that can get made N/A, but we need to know about them as the Flogger sends data for all fields, it's the script that makes them N/A, and it's the script that will have to be tweaked to put the data back in)

Furthermore, as we've only tested a normal flight, we need PP pilots to be doubly vigilant. While the new script doesn't treat PP flights any differently from normal flights, you can't be too careful...
