This time we took fans only from Brussels to another Prince concert in Washington. The route was almost the same after the Channel and Dover ... Compton, Shannon, Newfoundland, Boston ... Where we headed toward New York and finally approch to Washington. This time I wanted to try out a small airfield, so we were flying to the good'ol Ronald Reagan National Airport, which is situated in the heart of the town, near The Pentagon.
Prepared for spinup. At the end of the row...:

Climbing to cruise level. It is shiny afternoon.

Over the open-sea I had to do some job, so I left the pilot alone...when I came back, we were over Boston.
Passing New York City at FL340. Flying over the Central Park and midtown Manhattan:

Flying with a really VIP colleauge in the Washington airspace. USAF1 headed for Edwards AFB somewhere far in front of me:

Descending to transition level over the Patuxent river delta. This scenery is amazing...:

And the clouds are superb again:

Touchdown was tricky, because the glide slope drove me to the middle of the runway. I decided a little late that I forget watching ILS bars on the instrument this time and will try a visual landing:

Parked at Ronald Reagan National KDCA airport. The Parliament and the Memorial can be seen in the background:

Nice Shots! Can't believe that's the river delta :o

Another great round of shots robert. I never cease to be amazed by your landing shots. Graet timing.
BTW, I always do a visual when posible because I prefer looking outside the cockpit than in
-
Yes, very nice, especially loved the AF1 shot, jajaja.;D

Thank you. You know I always do touchdown shots before taxiing, when I already left the runway.
Yeah , the AF1 was a big surprise. I always watched special AI planes but never seen them. On this route I have seen an AWACS plane too. ;D

Hmm maybe you should try bringing onboard a radar unit (gauge) and intercept those planes? :]
