Title: UFO at Hungary...
Post by: EHM-1001 Robert on August 19, 2004, 06:29:36 pm
Today I was coming home from job, riding my bycicle, when I suddenly spotted this thing on the sky. It was an unknown aircraft type for me. When I saw it first time I thought its an F14, then it made a right turn, and I saw the two vertical fins are connected. It has a very strange shape, like this:

It produced jet engine noise and that was the most strange thing...unknown jet aircraft model over the suburbs of Budapest, at low altitude...

Anybody knows the airplane type?

wow that sea vixen looks quite nice, especially in yellow.

I'd never have compared them two but now that you mention it, they look very very similar, if not exact.

Perhaps his lost. ;D;D

It's a naval aircraft so there must be some british navy close by (I hope, otherwise he is really lost)

I think there must be an air show in Hungary or somewhere nearby at the moment, because the royal navy definately doesn't use those in service anymore, unless maybe another navy does.

Today, is a national celebration here in Hungary, and every year there is a water and air show over the Duna river in the city center. But this plane was not on the list, so I am still confused...
