Title: Propilot/Flight logger
Post by: EHM-1882 Gian on May 06, 2010, 11:04:13 am
Hello,

I just booked a propilot flight from EGLL to LFBO. The available plane shown on propilot for this flight was a Tupolev. When I go to flight logger, this flight appears as being an A318 Elite flight. Which aircraft should I then use to ensure my flight will be validated? Thks for your help.

Hi Gian,

The flight itself is Class 5 which would normally be flown in the Class 5 EuroBusiness aircraft - the A318. However it can also be flown in the Challenger 850 (Class 4) and the Tupolev 204 VIP (Class 6) as it is a Jet flight flyable in Class 4 to 6 aircraft.

In ProPilot it then becomes a question of which of these aircraft is available at your departure airport. If all three are parked there, the choice is yours. If only one of them is there, that's the one you must use.

Does that clarify matters?

Just one note to Dom's clarification: in the ProPilot business, the web site is the "boss".

If you successfully locked a flight and an aircraft in the web site, then FlightLogger will accept the same. Inversely, if a flight or aircraft is not available in the web site, selecting it in FlightLogger won't help.
