Title: Zurich to Male!
Post by: EHM-1358 Tim on September 18, 2004, 11:22:05 am: This flight took 9 1/2 hours. So in my case this is a very long flight!

The first part of the flight was from LSZH to LOWG.

I never knew there was a A380 flying. I do now :]

Taking off. SOme planes heading to the tunway. That A380 has still not been able to leave its parking space. Very busy for night time.

Flying over Zurich. Its an long time to get this plane up to 20,000ft:%

Landing at LOWG was a very nervous experience. For one I never knew about the mountains. But landing was fine.

The next part of the flight was from LOWG to VRMM. After 10,000ft the relief pilot (Joe Bloggs) took over, spending 3 1/2 hours in my seat and 3 hours in the flight officers seat.:8

Touch down is abit off the centre line :$. Its hard trying to land while taking pics. But I have to say this is on of the easyest planes ive ever landed (ILS as standard)

After a long flight the engines are shut down.

Post by: EHM-1001 Robert on September 18, 2004, 05:26:11 pm: Nice pics Tim ! Can we see some shots from the return flight too? ;D I have just discovered on FSPLANET there is a new FS2004 scenery for Male airport. After the images it is a beautiful add-on, I recommend it.

My fav is the braking images, looks like you stop the ABS does not work on that plane and it will uses plenty of rubbers until stop ;D

I put autobrake on, and it was on max. And that was the mment I touched down.

Did you land a little bit too fast tim? ;) Landing slower would save much more rubber! :P
