Even tough this is unofficial, I thought about drawing up a plan for a EHM repair service.
It would run by people who need spare engines or have broken down post a request for a repair pilot to fly to them. This is then posted onto the main page of the website. People who are able to do that flight do it. They then file the flight and then its mission over.
The central hub would be LSZH as this is in the ‘centre’ of Europe.
Would fly to capital cities all over the world. After that smaller planes would be flown from there.

That sounds like a good idea but i think you'll need a system where pilots can 'book' a repair flight to somewhere where someone has broken down so that no one would end up doing the same thing.....and maybe a Damage slot where pilots can type in a description of the damage sustained (along with an option to choose whether it's at the beginning, the end, or the middle of the flight for which you would have to state which airport you did the emergency landing at) and then that information would be added to the "Repairs" database and be displayed on the website? Would that be doable?

This would be a lot of work. We need to make a php script where pilot enters what broke down and where. Next the system must calculate the distance and class, and add a flight to a database, to allow it to be reported. Once it's reported by someone, the flight should be deleted.
I don't say it's a bad idea, but currently we're developing some more importand things for the airline.

Glad to hear that it's feasible......at least there's the possibility of it being implemented in the future! ;)
