Title: Project Opensky has shut down
Post by: EHM-1465 Dominic on December 03, 2010, 02:13:11 pm
News for all fans of POSKY aircraft - due to internal disagreements, Project Opensky shut down at the end of November. This team of freeware designers brought us some of the real gems available for FS2004 and FSX and I for one will miss their contribution to our hobby.

The good news however is that a few POSKY team members have opened up a new website at http://www.freeskyproject.com (http://www.freeskyproject.com) which will host all POSKY's files and will offer support too. It's worth having a look over there and at their Forum over the next weeks and months as it seems some other POSKY members may also join them so all is not lost ;)

That's a shame, really... their planes were always quite good albeit on the heavy side performance wise cos of so much detail

Let's hope they rally under a new banner like the Flight Sim people are now doing Microsoft Fly
