Title: Wild Tour Question
Post by: EHM-2659 Manuel on April 02, 2011, 03:55:34 pm
Hey all,

Although the dates show 2010 I see that still is active and I wonder if someone could give a hand. I have signed up as requested on the tour main page within the forum. Can we do the legs at any time or have to be at specific time and date? also, Do we need to file the legs by using the logger? and if so, How do we do it?

Many thanks

Manuel

Propilot events are one-offs I'm afraid and that event is now over Manuel.

When propilot events run each leg has to be flown between a set of dates - this makes it easier for pilots to join each other on one of the online networks.

Fear not, there shall be more coming soon, especially with the 10 year anniversary at the end of this month.

...and every once in a while we'll turn a ProPilot event into a tour. Rare, but it has happened in the past and no doubt it'll happen again (just not with the WILD event IMO, it was too linear and doesn't fulfil the aims of tours at EHM)

Missions tend to get turned over every few months to keep things fresh and tend to be topical.

Missions can only be flown if active, but past missions could occasionally get resurrected.

If none of the missions are currently active, rest assured we'll have more soon, but what with the new website project, the new flight logger project, and the 10th Anniversary plans, we're a little busy right now. As soon as we have two of those three done, we'll get to the missions ;)
