Suggestion for the forum - given we are effectively brand new...

How about a forum for talking about training?

Since the Great Crash (it deserves capitals, don't you think?) I have been working on my IVAO ATC exams (C1 practical will be RSN) and one of the things that I have been doing toward that end is writing a "How To Be" document that, through the mechanism of an example flight, shows pilot and controller how they are supposed to deal with each other, along with more general talk on procedures, et al.

Looks good to me... A clear document showing how to connect/fly/interact online would be highly apreciated I think.

That's kinda what started it all off... sort of secret squirrel stuff that I'm still not altogether sure I should talk about in detail (as it is almost certainly going to be ongoing in the near future), but that project got put on hold.

In the enforced gap, I decided to give ATCing on IVAO a go (pay it on, as it were). I started the example flight document after failing to find anything that covered the ATC side in as much detail as it covered the pilot side.

(Tee hee - found my badge again... Only took me ten minutes digging around my ISP webspace...)

yeah that would be a great idea! especially for pilots who really want to try online flying! by the way do we still retain our awards and everthing? thought of this when i saw your badge......

Now that we're on the topic of badges, I forget how to upload my own badge. I remember that I need ISP webspace (someting I know nothing about) to do this. Is there any chance one of you would be willing to help me out in uploading my badge if I were to email it to you?:%

you could use a free service like me. there are those at freewebhosting.com (not too sure about the address). I uses ripway.com for my image hosting

hmm.......it looks like my badge is way too long and the top is stretched out by it a whole lot......
