Fellow pilots, we have good news:
As of today, EuroHarmony has a company channel on the IVAO teamspeak server. This channel allows us to communicate with each other through voice, just like any other Teamspeak channel (usually the ATC positions). Of course, you can only have one channel open at the same time, so this is primarily for the times there is no ATC around, or prior to a flight.
To set up the service on your computer:
- start up Teamspeak
- press "connect" (this will pop up the local address book)
- right-click on the servers list
- select "add new"
- enter the information similar to this picture
- important things here are the Server Address = cc.ts.ivao.aero, and Default Channel = EHM_CC (saves you from browsing the long list of company channels on IVAO)
- please use the forum convention for the Nickname: EHM-#### First Name so others recognise easily who's online.
- the label can be anything you like. It's just the name under which the entry appears in your
To access the company channel (CC), you then only need to open Teamspeak (if IvAp or IvAc had not opened Teamspeak already). Press the button "connect", and choose the company channel teamspeak server.
Of course, if there is ATC around, you should contact them instead, which closes the CC connection.
I hope to see and hear you soon in IVAO virtual skies!
Have fun!
