Title: 12th EHM Event - 29th October 1800Z

We will have an event on Friday starting from 1800Z, on VATSIM this time (see the Announcements thread).

Please post here comments, reviews etc.

I should be there....not the biggest fan of VATSIM....but ah well.....it's for a good cause :]:):>

My only problem is that I may not be home in time....but fingers crossed!!

I'll first have to get an vatsim id then somewhere. I never flew on there. Are they different?

Oh Im sorry to say guys,but I might not be able to make it to this event.:[ Because of my old VATSIM acount. (And yes I have been good)

Edit:Yeah no chance of me being able to fly, I only have a hotmail email. And they wont acept it. Ive used my POP3 one but only my Mum uses that one. Shame :{

I thought about 50% of our online flyers use VATSIM, I see many EHM planes there...

I used to be with them, but got a wee bit fed up with the controllers arguing while I was trying to fly etc. Still have an active account though.

If you follow the rules then on vatsim they are not strickter as on ivao.
Sid and Star and so on are on both the same !!

And dont go arguing with controller you must execute the task he gives to you,  hes in control off the area and not the pilot.!

Just 1 technical question about on-line flying. If I remember well, in FS2002 the on-line procedure follows this order:
-start FS
-start multiplayer session in FS
-start hostSB module in FS
-start SquawkBox from outside
-connect to server
-send flightplan

If this all still true, I think I will come too. It seems now, I can handle my general FS bug ;)

Thanks for all who come to the event! We had really professional ATC almost for all the way. A debriefing will be available in a couple of days. I received pictures from Cyriel, is there anyone else who made some?

Really sorry i missed it but the NHS made me work late - great employers!! Am really keen to join the next one as am fairly new to flight sim and have just recently started doing some of my own on-line flights and would be great to be part of the whole EHM on-line group. Unfortunately i am only a member of IVAO at mo but will try and sort out VATSIM before next time. Hope you all had fun...LOL
