I have created a VFR PP Event that will tae us around the UK and Ireland on a bunch of short VFR flights. All legs are less than 130 nm GCD, some are even as short as only 40 nm. Of course you are free to extend that to enjoy the beautiful scenery, take it easy, and relax! :)
The event starts the 2nd of August. For most of us in the middle of summer holidays, so I have made the time window for all of the legs 4 weeks. That should be enough to span a normal holiday, But if you have trouble meeting the deadline for some reason, don't be afraid to ask me for an extension (or an early start of the next leg).
There's one tricky bit:
As the wesite database requires that events like this be entered with ICAO codes of FS9, Oban has code OBN. However, after FS9 and before FSX, the ICAO code for Oban changed to EGEO. So chances are that you'll fly something other than FS9, and in that case, you just need to fly to EGEO (and depart the next leg from EGEO as well, of course), even thoug FlightLogger might call it OBN. FL should recognise the sim you are using, and present you with the appropriate ICAO code, but if not - and you are not flying FS9 - you should just fly to EGEO, and FL should log that OK. FL uses GPS coordinates to determine where you are, so that is independant of ICAO code.
