Title: IvAp exam

For the Captain rating on IVAO, people now have to take the IvAp exam instead of the SB exam. The new IvAp exam consists of 20 questions, and you have to select the correct answer from a list (you don't have to type in the answer, as with the old exams).

Yes.That is easier exam than in SB.

I had wondered about this Gergely. As a newcomer to IVAO who is now using IVaP and teamspeak it would seem strange to test me on Squawkbox. Glad the test is actually more linked to real life and looking forward to putting in for the test when I've done my two weeks. Just out of interest, if I request a test do I get it immediately or do I wait for it to arrive? If I know it comes immediately I can only put in for it when I know I've got an undisturbed chuck of time.

The Theory test will start immediately when you request it. Practical exams will take a little bit longe as you have to propose a date when you have time to do it. The examiner will make an appointment with you then.
